What rules would you like to implement instead?

I think Euclidus referring to the fact that she can't do a quad in the sp. Which I agree is unfair considering there are more girls doing quads than triple axels at the moment, and it gives an unfair advantage to those who can do a 3A as their "hard jump".

Say current ladies SP requires an axel. 2Ax or 3Ax as there is no 4Ax ever landed.

Let allow either 2Ax or 3Ax or above.
Sasha cannot do Axel but she has a stable 4T. She could benefit much.

Oh why can’t Elizaveta Nugumanova fix her URs?? Such a lovely skater that has to be pushed to fourth just because of URS... also I can’t understand why none of her spins got “B”, they’re all amazing!

Interesting short in the first Group Stage.

Sakhanovich - Very powerful skate. She looks determined and in great shape. If she skates like this I am no longer grumpy that she got that GP spot over Gubanova. In fact, I wish she gets Sotskova's spot as well as Maria didn't even look motivated earlier today, and was certainly not in good shape.

Tsibinova - The surprise of the day. Wonderful clean skate. She almost qualifed for Nationals last year, can she make it this year?

Talalaykina, Gulyakova and Nugumanova had mistakes and need to step up tomorrow. Nugumanova's URs!!

And who is this Ivanova girl who sneaks in a 3A! The rest was not that great - but a 3A!

Do you agree with all those ur calls? some of them were really harsh.

For me if you call Gulyakova's lutz underrotated then Tsibinova's jumps are UR as well.

Yes she deserves higher GOE on spins and in this field i thought she was the most polished, with the best skating skills.

I‘m no technical specialist but I thought some of the calls were rather harsh. Her 3Lo+3Lo didn‘t look like a 3Lo<+3Lo<<. I mean, I know she‘s prone to underrotating but still... I loved the program, though. She‘s just an amazing performer. And I was really happy for Sima. Hoping she continues this way tomorrow. Go girl!!

Sasha landed all her QUADZ but struggled with 3Lz-3Loop again. I wonder if she is learning 4loop and it is messing with her triple or if the problem is her adrenaline is running too high from landing the quads. Or maybe it was just a fluke, we'll see further in the season.

She weirdly seems to struggle with 3Lz-3Loop. And I say "struggle" for Sasha standards. She seems more consistent on her quads so clearly she's not struggling in any sense of the term. I remember last year she seemed to have difficulty with this combo a few times. I think there was even a time that she couldn't hit it (in a show I think?) and then jumped afterwards until she nailed it but it did take several tries. For some reason this combo seems more unstable? Or maybe because its in the second half? I wonder if she'd benefit from switching the 3Lo to 3T since she clearly is going to have the point advantage already and doesn't need the slightly harder combo? I know Sasha doesn't like to play it "safe" and would rather push the limits.

It just surprises me that she is so consistent with her quads but does seem to have a bit of trouble with the 3Lz3lo. But this is nitpicking! Go Sasha, she is unstoppable!

It was UR though. It looked a little like she was so eager to train for the 3A that she neglected everything else. :scratch2:

Nugumanova gives me headaches. Everything from her looks wonderful except the protocols.
