Elena Alexandrovna Klimova has coached, amongst others, Anastasia Mishina, Alexandra Boikova and Valeriy Kolesov. The latter, together with Ksenia Akhantieva, has now moved to be coached by Fedya!

Reminds me that while it’s pretty common to see the children of coaches succeed as elite skaters, it doesn’t seem all that common for those skating children to follow their parents into coaching when their careers are over.

An exception proving the rule—Scott Moir, raised by a mom and aunt who coached him, and now beginning his own coaching career.
