Vaclav Vasquez is scaring me with those falls. I fear he almost hit his head. He is still smiling and attacking his jumps and choreo. I am behind so will not say as much about the mistakes.

Lorenzo. Nice outfit. Good program and skate.

For me, Lorenzo is a real step-up in quality - his speed, ice coverage, performance, and movement quality is so good, most of his triples are really lovely to watch (especially his lutz) and his spins are so fast as well. He may not have been as clean as Aleksandr, but for me, this program was still more impactful and impressive.

Aleksandr Fegan skates to Firebird. I found this really interesting on the JGP. His body awareness is so nice as a result of his ballet training. Love his musicality - a budding John Curry stylistically.

oh poor Patrick... four falls and only got in two combos, that is such a tough skate and I feel so bad for him

Lorenzo Elano in grey and black skating to "Mad Rush" by Philip Glass; "The Hours" by Philip Glass; choreo by Tommy Steenberg; Scott Brown. Solid opening jumps, he carries nice speed into his jumps. Nice deep knees and solid spins. Gorgeous Ina Bauer and spread eagles. Really speedy spins and solid positions.
