Rachael should be on the program. I believe the program consists of the top four in each discipline.

But what happens to Mirai and Kimmie? Rippon? and the non scorring Pairs and Dance?

Is icenetwork planning to show the exhibition?

I read somewhere it starts at 8, but I can't be sure.

When is the gala, and can someone give a play by play?

Raechel has just skated to a famous and cool American song, with a red costume. She was lovely and much different from usual. I enjoyed her performance.
Right now there are the Kerrs with traditional costumes and music. John wears a kilt

It sounds like the exhibition version of their Erin Shore OD from last year.

Chances are, it looked like this (you would have seen this if you played the videos in the ice dance preview :) :

2008 The Ice Exhibition version of their Erin Shore/Auld Lang Syne OD
It has Sinead lifting John twice! Great version of a wonderful program.

Quick notes, because I'm simultaneously watching the exhibitions:
Rachael skated to Respect, by Aretha (sp?) Franklin
The Kerr's revived last year's OD as a gala program, it was really great!!!!
What was Tanith and Ben's music? I really like that song, but don't know its title or singer...

also, Delobel and Schoenfelder appear to have been inspired by the ribbons at last World's gala. Nice program, though! (My Immortal, by Evanescence, I think)

I thought Takahiko Kozuka put together a very nice exhibition program. It was yet again another Yuka Sato ( & Sandra Bezic) creation to "Save The Last Dance For Me"... that is supposed to look like this (Dream on Ice EX) without missing jumps. Two things stoke me... "beautiful edge work" and the final jump combination (in both directions!).

Then, I began wondering how would the 'soft-spoken' TK do a program with more attack and charisma... So, hey, take a look at this! Daisuke better watch out for this one..

It is always nice to get to know a new (<--for me) talented skater. I thought I was looking at the future Kurt Browning for a second. Am I the only one who is going crazy?

yuna's ex on youtube

Any youtube links?

that's the best quality vid of her exhibition i've found so far (make sure you hit the "high quality" text link in the bottom corner if it looks fuzzy). i think most of the other skaters' exhibs are on youtube by now too.

she skated to her mandy moore "only hope" program she used last season, but i think they stuck last year's short program step sequence in there, and also does she do a triple loop as her first jump? was kinda quick, i'll need to look at it again. and of course the new improved spirals are diff from last year.

the thing to really watch for though, is her encore afterwards. she does the short program step sequence with the ending spin, and it was MUCH FASTER, more precise, much better aligned with the music than her actual short. i guess she's less tired here and more relaxed, so we get to see it how it was supposed to really be skated... even with her high score and all in the short, i thought the ending footwork and spins were all sluggish in the actual competition, so it was nice to see this version here! faster spins always make an ending more exciting and dramatic, and she was right on top of the music here with the footwork (in actual comp i felt like she was just slightly off timewise). beautiful...
