2025 Kinoshita Group Cup Men's Free Skate

God really saw Jun's magnificent face and go, "for the sake of fairness, I shall grant you very long jump setups"

Iffy cuts of Come What May's ending aside, that was exactly what I expected when I heard Jun was doing a Moulin Rouge medley.

Welp all thanks to twitter user @moozuru I was able to watch my darling, and... god I hate to say it but the program is so bland... it's even more standard Moulin Rouge than standard Natural was standard Natural last season and Moulin Rouge is much more the warhorse so... like my darling is beautiful and every move he makes is beautiful and such but it is just... so... plain old Moulin Rouge... this is not Olympic season FS calibre, I want Loco back... I am on the verge of tears

Poor Kao explaining on X that his costume is not heavy and has nothing to do with his jumps mistakes 🤣
That costume is so over the top but I actually like it

After seeing him perform The Last Samurai v.2 in competition, I'm pretty confident he'll be able to put together a decent skate by his 2nd GP
As long as he continues to work on building his stamina, timing his jumps within his programs and avoids additional illness or injury he should be fine
He started Beauty and the Beast season in poor condition too

I think Loco would set the judge's hair on fire at the Olympics.....and everywhere else.

and last but not least

well well...
jun is such a good skater that he can pull anything off, including MR
However, it's a pity that this is what he has chosen because it means we won't see something much better all season. He's not going to lose points with this, he is fine... but he is losing my patience with two dubious program choices.

This being said : I was happy to see him land the quad toe here and the quad salchow after he popped the first sal. The axel pop was not good.... nor was the no combo on his lutz.. that's what I pay money for... to see the 3lz-3loop.

in the steps, he wasn't always one with the music but his movements were gorgeous. So I enjoyed it, despite Roxane
