The music used for their RD while trying to be different was IMO still a safe choice since both artists are well known and were extremely popular internationally
There are so many J-pop songs that I feel would've been more interesting and entertaining for them to have skated to

Kaho & Yuto take a walk in the park...she doesn't quite have the knee action he does and appears taller than him at certain points. They did do some clever holds.

I don't know about these two... First time I see them.
I find them a bit oddly matched. There is practically no height difference between them. Also, he's super smooth with his upper body, but she is stiff at the shoulders.

I like that they chose japanese music but it didn't sound very catchy to be honest. They struggled a lot to find their feet (and holds), especially in the first part.

I will forever be bitter about the lack of Japanese Dance teams being assigned JGPs this season

Kaho and Yuta chose to be unique and make a different choice when it came to the music used, and I appreciate that.

Shame that they are the only Japanese Jr Dance team which will be on the JGP this season, JSF really needs to think about how what they are doing is affecting the development of the discipline in Japan.
