Phew. The repeat showing of the overnight Formula 1 race finished just in time.

Group 1 Warm-Up starting now.

:cheer: ALL THE BEST EVERYBODY!!! :cheer:

So, there was football match being held next door during the IceChallenge a couple of weeks ago. And there was a football match being held next door during the Warsaw Cup yesterday.

Very inconsiderate of these football federations to arrange matches during figure skating events!

When the music started for Martaliis KUSLAP (EST), I instantly thought "that's the music that my youngest kid Oliviia Bazlova is using for her SP, and which I should have been hearing on Friday except the Amber Cup stream came on too late!" But, it wasn't. It was very similar, though.

Her dress looks beautiful close up, but from a distance it doesn't. I think the colour doesn't help.

Not a bad start to the final day.

I know it doesn't really make any difference when we are on the first skater, but the livescoring page isn't working at the moment.

Adéla VALLOVÁ (CZE) is trying to confuse us. She comes out in a beautiful dark purple dress. And does a "La La Land" programme?!

"La La Land" equals bright colourful dresses! :drama:

Unfortunately, some of her jumps didn't work.

But she is really happy waiting for her scores.

And she is delighted with them!

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

A "Romeo And Juliette" programme for Julia FENNELL (ISR). Although I normally like black dresses, I don't actually like this one.

Some issues with her landings. And then the fall just capped it off.

Very enthusiastic waving from the results area. But then she looks nervous.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

The name's Hovine. Jade Hovine. B-E-L.

I know, I used that line the last time I saw this programme. But, I like it!

Like Julia before her, I am not keen on this black dress. The difference is that this one would be absolutely beautiful if it did not have so many cut-outs. With them, it looks more like a matching bra, belt, and skirt set.

But, I really enjoyed this programme.

OK, to be fair, I do tend to like all Jame bond programmes that do not involve Sam Smith or Billie Eilish.

She looks really fed up while waiting for her scores.

She goes into quite a big lead in both the FS and overall.

But she's still not thrilled.

Magdalena ZAWADZKA (POL) wearing a really beautiful sky blue dress. And skating to really beautiful instrumental music.

In the second half, it turned into a cover of ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All". I wasn't keen on it. You can't better ABBA. Plus, I always think skating to that song is tempting fate.

She had a fall early on, but apart from that everything was beautiful.

From the way Diana is talking, it maybe wasn't as beautiful as I thought.

Oh no. Is she crying? She's certainly very upset.

She goes into 5th position in the FS, and 4th position overall.

She's bawling her eyes out now.

:ghug:

Oooh. Thank you Diana. I knew I still had to watch some of the girls from the final group of the Ladies SP, but I had forgot that I hadn't seen the Pairs FS.

CaroLiza_fan

Ah, yes. Marietta ATKINS (POL) is skating to "Experience", but with vocals. I remember how surreal it was when I first heard it earlier in the season.

Beautiful black dress with gold pattern. And beautiful skating.

This will be right up there.

She goes into 2nd position in the FS, and the lead overall.

CaroLiza_fan

Sarah Marie PESCH (DEU) is skating to Orianthi Panagaris!!!!!! :cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

I LOVE ORIANTHI!!!

How can you not love her? A really cute girl with Greek heritage who is a demon on the guitar! 🎸

Can't say I love Sarah's dress. It is one of those ones that starts as pale grey at the top, and then darkens to black as you go down it.

But what a skate! It was great!!!

She has to be the new leader. Just has to!

She is! In both the FS and overall.

CaroLiza_fan

Oona OUNASVUORI (FIN) is wearing a pale pink and white dress that is blending into the ice too well.

The music started out as a beautiful instrumental, but then vocals came in. And they spoiled it. The music was building up underneath the vocals, and it would have made for an even better programme if it had stayed as instrumental.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a perfect skate. But, she's Finnish, so it goes without saying that what did go well was beautiful.

Thomas Kennes is wrapped up like he is in a blizzard!

She goes into 3rd position in the FS, and 2nd position overall.

CaroLiza_fan

Taisiia SPESIVTSEVA (UKR) is skating to "Yo Soy María". She is wearing a gorgeous black dress with gold pattern. (The shape of the pattern actually reminds me of the Gold Zeo Ranger's chest armour)

Correction. Seeing her in the results area, the gold pattern is actually cut outs. And the dress is even more gorgeous close up.

A really beautiful skate.

She's really happy with her scores.

She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.

CaroLiza_fan

Karolina BIAŁAS (POL) is also wearing a black dress. But I don't like the white polka dots at the top.

She is skating to a beautiful French song that I have never heard before. But now that I have heard "Voyage Voyage" by ESTL, I want to hear more of the singer's songs.

The skating was as beautiful as the song she was skating to.

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

It took a while for it to sink in. But once it did, she was really happy!

CaroLiza_fan

Resurfacing time, so I'm going back to try to get a couple of the girls that I missed last night fitted in. Starting with Mia RISA GOMEZ (NOR)

CaroLiza_fan

Well, I actually got three programmes watched, although I only just got Minja PELTONEN (FIN)'s programme finished. I haven't seen her get her scores yet.

And Minja is coming up in this group! So, it's just as well I got her fitted in.

But, I'm angry. I looked at the clock, and realised that I had been thinking in Helsinki time while looking at the Time Schedule. So, rather than missing Group 5 due to eating like I thought, I will actually be missing Group 4.

Group 4 is the group I specifically wanted to see, because it includes both of my kids, and the battle of the Lithuanian skaters. :drama:

:bang: :bang: :bang:
