Mens' LP

Chan was overscored, Brian was ROBBED for the silver. Still deserving winner. Congratulations, Evan. Black mark of Tarasova is magical. Let's see what it does for Mao.

HOLY CRAP!!!

Poor Brian....Ain't Karma a *****!! Trashes Jeff at the post skate Press Conference, not to mention the kicking of the table full of glass back stage last year, has been saying the Quad should be all but nothing and...

Congratulations Evan and Patrick!!! Wow...What a night!!!

I would have given it to Chan, but congrats Evan. Shades of Todd Eldredge 1996.

Well, if Chan wasn't under-marked in the shorts....that's the 4-5 points there.

Lysack's PC mark almost 3 points higher than Chan confuses me...

And Joubert still gets higher PCS then Chan, the one that I scratch my head on is transitions???? No one has more and better transitions then Chan.

this is just do not understand. at all. I'm baffled.

Congrats to the medalists - great comp!

I haven't really posted in a very long time but to say that I am thrilled that Evan won is an understatement. People can critic all they want but I say Evan has it going on.

Canada just missed three spots by one place right?

And Dennis Ten moves up from 17th to 8th!

It's funny to listen to Scott and Sandra gush over something that was more tepid than Plushy's Olympic LP.

I am happy for Evan and Patrick. I feel badly for Brian - just unbelievable that happened on the 2A.

Wonder who will be the men in the medal ceremony. If it follows the pairs ceremony, two that come to mind are Brian Boitano and Todd Eldredge. Did not include Scott Hamilton since he is commentating for NBC.

Many congrats to the US Mens' Team: Jeremy Abbott, 2008-2009 Grand Prix Final Champion, Adam Rippon, 2009 Jr. World Champion, and Evan Lysacek, 2009 Sr. World Champion. It was a banner season for them!

Congrats to all the World medalists! Very well done, guys!!!:bow::bow:

Thrilled for Chan winning silver. Maybe he will be able to break the Canadian men's Olympic curse.

Lysacek's win is shades of Buttle last season. Largely counted out after disappointing, struggling seasons, losing the national title, then coming back with perfect performances at worlds. Congrats.

Funny Chan does beat Joubert but not for gold. Denis Ten top eight overall, top six in the free skate and third highest tech in the free. I said earlier 2014 Olys medal. Now I think, if he improves a bit, outside chance at medal 2010. Speedy will really be pushing for Contesti I'll bet my lira.

Well, Evan scrapped most of Tarasova's choreography and one of her costumes, so I'd say the mark of Lori Nichol was actually what did it.

Oxade21 is RIGHT, Brian was robbed for Silver and Chan was WAY overscored....again.....

So sad  my heart is just breaking for Brian Joubert.....

Chan made the most of the transitions to get GOEs for his triples, Brian didn't and he banked on his quad only. Wasn't he planning at least 3 quads? Had he done three quads or even two, he could have afforded that faceplant at the end of his program.

The true winner of the night. Sensational skate. What a debut!!!!
I wonder how long before he becomes Russian citizen?
