Joub first impression, i like it, I like the music, his spins had gone better and he has great speed, mostly i liked the slow part in the middle and his use of hands , the very beginning reminds me of yag + plush together, his pose before the slow part with the raised arm is exactly like Plush's in Tango at the slow section as well(at least the old tango i ve seen) :laugh:, which made me smile, I forsee hip, quad and arm battle:p
In preaubert's music is not like i imagined it for rolling stones tribute in mute OrangeTv, I dont like the cuts much...
Russian skaters will show their programs on 19-20 September in an open "test skate" in Moscow and Odintsovo, I have no idea if it a competition or show, but I hope there will be videos this time, cause i want to see Plush's programs at last:o Any info welcomed:)

It is not a competition, just another test skate. I hope there will be videos too, but I doubt... People say that it will not be open (( Let's just wait and see

Plushenko's Olimpic Tosca SP is the best for me. It was not just sport, it was art! Everything was perfect. His LP was not as strong, he knew that no one could beat him and maybe just relax, didn't put his all into it, but he still was better than others. I hope to see strong and emotional performance from him in Vancouver. I expect something special from Joubert and Lambiel too. I like them too and for me it is not matter who will win (of course, I hope it will be Plushenko, I'm Russian :) ). But if it will be Joubert or Lambiel I will be happy for them (but please, no more ballerinas without quad!). So good luck for them!
 
Yes Urmy was great, Have you noticed him and Kulik had red cheeks when skated, like haidi?:)I wish I had seen an on time competition of him, but its ok, youtube works fine, I love the way he moved on ice, like a male fairy...

And while we are on our favs does someone else like Colin Firth?:biggrin:

LOVE him... have you seen him in "Relative Values" (with Dame Julie Andrews)? That was my introduction to his acting... fell in love instantly

Exactly. He may have wanted to relax a little, probably because he knew no one was even close to touching him. Just human behaviour, maybe not admirable in a sportsman, but other times, he always gives his best.
I know I forgive him. :p
 
Ilya Kulik- I used to like him a LOT... shame he skated for such a brief time.

Colin Firth- oh yeah. My favourite role of his is "Girl with a pearl earring". *drool* And of course THE Mr Darcy. :D
Do you guys know he will play in "Dorian Gray" very soon? In that movie, watch out for Ben Barnes... I expect he will blow a few (a LOT) of female fuses around the globe. :love::love::love:

A bit late, but my point is that what's quoted below (which you wrote to mark the 1000th post on this thread) represents the true spirit of the Plushy thread, and people were ruining everything by being serious. Except I am not a secret admirer of Plushy :scowl:.

Colin Firth discussions - much better! P&P, of course. Eurovision - :rock:. But vintage Eurovision is much better than anything Dima Bilan and the new Mrs. Plushenko might come up with.
