The first bit of the Italian's music is horrible (sorry to the Italians out there), feels really disjointed and I don't get what they're doing with the ribbons. Liked their ending though, Robin Cousin said they're consistent and smooth but no wow factor.

It's not ribbons, it's like the Spanish thingies, you sort of click with them.

Didn't do anything for me I have to say so I can understand why the crowd didn't get it either. Just didn't seem to be fast enough or had any dynamism to it.

Does anyone else think that Crone and Poirier have been a bit undermarked at this event? I think they skated much better than several of the teams ahead of them in the standings.

They have been skating very smoothly, and Paul especially has great long edges. Several of the other teams ahead of them seemed very sloppy and error-filled to me.

Anyway, they were better than in the Euros, that was a surprise I must admit but still not good IMO.

I agree. Even if it was not considered offensive, it just doesn't really look good to me. Not the quality program I expect from a top notch team.
