Even with the mistakes, Akiko still moves me at the end. That last minute was amazing.

I know what you mean. I tuned in late to the program and was captivated by the skating I did see. Didn't realize about the missed jumps until the replay. I'm sad for her ... she is one of my favorites. Still, I enjoyed the lovely skating.

Yes. The only thing Gold should be remotely close to Suzuki on in PCS land is SS. She has very strong basic SS and there is no denying it. The rest though it total crap next to Akiko.

Under normal circumstances yes. But Akiko's performance was strangely flat and emotionless, and I don't just mean because of the technical goofs. I think tonight Gracie did perform better overall.

We just need Ashley to bomb worse than nationals and GPF combined now so that they don't get 3 spots.

I am sad Russia will only get 2 spots.....

Gold did significantly better than the piece of crap Akiko just showed.
Akiko should get 4 for P/E and maybe 6-7 for IN and CH. It was the worst of the bunch so far. Sorry, she's normally a great performer, but tonight, she was absolutely terrible.

Gold skated faster and had more transitions. You want CoP, you got it.

Suzuki tied Gold on transitions/choreography and beat her on skating skills. She lost on interpretation and performance.
