Elene is looking better than the previous seasons though. For a while it looked like she had weight problems. She's looking very healthy and fit!

Warpony = piece of music that is heading towards becoming a Warhorse.

I'm sorry, but there is just too many butt cheeks hanging out/ wedgies happening in the Ladies competition. It's distracting. Some of these skaters need to ask the Pairs/ Ice Dance Ladies or some of their peers where they buy their dresses from.

Yeah, but she fought for it, and I'm so proud. Yay, Kaetlyn! Hopefully next year she will be injury-free and able to attack her programs again in the way she's loved to do!

So proud of Kaetlyn! Even with the errors, she had a brilliant 2A+3T and a much stronger skate than the team FS. And a season's best too!

She looked exhausted. Probably due to coming back from injury it's hard to regain endurance. Hopefully she does even better at Worlds.

Also she has an Olympic silver medal.

What I posted earlier...

There are some musical pieces that are used over and over and over and over and... They are known as Warhorses. Carmen is probably THE quintessential Warhorse piece. Sing Sing Sing is another Warhorse.

I jokingly said that there are some pieces which aren't quite Warhorses yet, but are on their way to becoming Warhorses. Pina looks like it is heading into Warpony status. Requiem for a Dream. [I'll add this: some warponies get put out to pasture and never get to full warhorse status, like Requiem for a Dream, which, CaroLiza, I really like as well].

Really, it's all just in fun, but it does point up how unimaginative alot of even top skating is, with a real reluctance to take chances on the untried, the untested.
