4th Maria Olszewska Memorial | Feb 24 - Mar 1

Looks like Kornel will be getting a new SB (and PB) too - or will be very close to last week's score.

Yup, new SB it is and they seem to be friends with Kuba.

Yay!!! I got all four of the girls in Group 1 watched!!!

Admittedly, I did skipped both the Group 1 and Group 2 Warm-Up, but at least I saw the programmes.

I see the first skater in this group, #5 Marietta ATKINS (POL), has withdrawn. So we will go straight onto #6 Catherine-Charlotte LAPIERRE (POL).

@Jeanie19 - Diana Lapierre's girl is coming on now!

That is a VERY pink dress for Catherine-Charlotte LAPIERRE (POL).

But it was not the Pink Panther, or Barbie, or "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend". It was "I Put A Spell On You".

You know, I may not have seen her too often, but that is without doubt the best I have seen her skate.

And I have seen some very rough skatess from her.

Mum sitting with her.

Hello Diana!!! We miss hearing you!!!

Catherine-Charlotte goes into 4th position.

She doesn't seem thrilled, but Diana seems happy.

Oh, #7 Tara PRASAD (IND) is a withdrawal as well.

So, straight onto #8 Laura SZCZESNA (POL)

CaroLiza_fan

Oh no, Laura SZCZESNA has hurt her left leg.

She had a freak fall, and held onto her left leg while lying on the ice. She then got up, crying, and limped towards her coaches, who told her she had to go to the panel to formally tell them she was withdrawing. So, she did, and then went into the middle of the ice, bowed, and left.

This group is cursed. Three withdrawals from the four we were supposed to have so far.

Get well soon Laura.

:ghug:

Lovisa AAV (SWE) is wearing a beautiful black dress, and skating to "Your Heart Is As Black As Night".

Well, at least this group has ended on a positive note. Everything about that was beautiful!

She goes into 2nd position.

Unfortunately, the start order was covering the screen for a large part of the Warm-Up, and then the stream died on me.

But, when it came back, I saw Anna-Flora taking off for a jump, but it ended behind the graphic telling us what we are watching! Why does the graphic have to be so big?!

After a while we saw her doing a jump. It was very fast, and she very nearly had to do a hand down when she landed, but it didn't touch.

In the last minute, she was still doing jumps. Two in the very last half minute. Unfortunately, they were behind the graphic!

But, hopefully it is a good sign for the programme.

Julia GRABOWSKI (DEU) was wearing a gorgeous royal blue dress, and skating to "Cinéma Paradiso".

Well, we ended the previous group with a beautiful programme, and we are starting this group with another beautiful programme.

I hope this trend continues!

Diana sitting with her too.

She goes into 5th position.

It's time for my kid!

My other kid that is in action today is leading Senior Ladies in the Bellu Memorial, so let's hope that is a good omen here.

:cheer: ALL THE BEST ANNA-FLORA!!! :cheer:

CaroLiza_fan

Very playful at the start.

First jump, and she nearly had her hand down like in the Warm-Up. But, again, it didn't touch.

Fall on second jump

Beautiful Camel Spin.

Next jump her feel touched on landing. Luckily she didn't fall.

Sit Spin good.,

To be honest, the step sequence looked a bit wild.

Change Foot Combination Spin good.

Taking a long time to get to the results area.

Finally, Anna-Flora and Leonora have arrived.

Synchronised waving to us from the sisters!

Awww. Now they are getting their photo taken.

She goes into 6th position.

Little reaction at first, but then Anna-Flora looked deflated.

Sure there was a fall, but it wasn't as bad as that!

:cheer: WELL DONE ANNA-FLORA!!! :cheer:

Kristina LISOVSKAJA (EST).

What can I saw about her that I haven't said already this season?!

You know, she really is a class act. She may be one of the older skaters on the Ladies Singles circuit now, but she is skating the best she ever has.

She is really out of breath!

Mum isn't!

She goes into quite a big lead.

CaroLiza_fan

Oliwia STROKOSZ (POL) wearing a black dress with a red stripe down the right hand side. And red knickers, which are very distracting (I know they are to tie in with the stripe, but she should have gone with black).

💃 Ole!

That was really good! And when she finished, she celebrated straight away. She knew it was good too!

I don't know, but I would guess that is her Mum sitting with her. They look very alike.

She goes into 5th position.

CaroLiza_fan

Oh, that's it. The final skater, Emma LYONS (GBR), has withdrawn as well.

See you tomorrow!

CaroLiza_fan

I don't know, but I would guess that is her Mum sitting with her. They look very alike.

She goes into 5th position.

CaroLiza_fan
This isn't her mum, this is coach form her club. I must say Oliwia did some nice progress, she looks very solid.

I'm gutted for Laura.

Wow! I was convinced. They look so alike.

But, regardless, I was really impressed with Oliwia. To the extent that I was disappointed that it wasn't higher.

I'm gutted for Laura.

Same here.

I hope it turns out to be something that doesn't take long to recover from.

Day 5 starts on the Interclub Entries / Results page with the Gold Under 13 girls, then moves to the ISU Entries / Results page for the Junior and Senior Free Skate segments, and finishes on the Adults Entries / Results page for all the Adult Singles competitions.

Livestream for the Gold Under 13 Ladies FS is now on air.

Here is the link for the livestream:

https://stream.vidata.pl/

Just be aware that, if the stream goes off air for whatever reason, everything up to that point is lost. And the stream stops working as soon as the broadcast ends, regardless of whether you are watching LIVE or playing catch-up.

:cheer: ALL THE BEST EVERYBODY!!! :cheer:

After a morning with the Gold Under 13 girls, we now have an afternoon finishing off the Junior and Senior levels. We start off with a Junior triple-bill, consisting of the Pairs partnership; followed by a group of 3 cacti; followed by a resurfacing; and then the 13 girls.

CaroLiza_fan

What on Earth have Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, and James Newton Howard done to the "Batman" theme tune?!

We were well into Ryszard SIUDEK (POL)'s programme when I realised that I was singing "Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na Batman" along to the music!

You know, I think this is the happiest I have ever seen Ryszard and Mariusz after a programme.

He goes into the lead.

What a reaction from both of them! Ryszard was jumping up and down with excitement, and his Dad wasn't far off doing the same! :cheer: Then they had a big hug! :ghug:

I just checked his past scores, and this is the first time Ryszard has scored more than 100 points in the FS. (And he was so close to breaking the 150 points in the overall score for the first time. Just 0.20 points off. :drama: )

:cheer: WELL DONE RYSZARD!!! :cheer:

CaroLiza_fan

Unfortunately, I missed the end of Oscar OLIVER (POL)'s programme because my computer froze momentarily.

But, he won both the FS and the title.

The celebrations were rather more muted than the previous skater. He blew kisses to the camera, and then raised his hands in the air.

CaroLiza_fan

Due to us losing an entire group in the Senior Ladies through withdrawals, the schedule for the rest of the day has been re-organised. Consequently, instead of having a resurfacing now, we are moving straight onto the first group of Junior Ladies.
