2026 BC/YT Super Series Summerskate (August)​

The 2026 BC/YT Super Series High Performance is open to all Pre-Novice to Senior skaters who are registered members in good standing with Skate Canada or other ISU Member club and is sanctioned by and held under the Rules of Skate Canada. It will take place from August 13-16, 2026 at the Scotia Barn in Burnaby, British Columbia. This event is part of the Super Series High Performance from the BC/Yukon section.

She's been on Ice Partner Search, so I think she split with Gabriel Liu and is doing solo dance while searching.

Just for pointers : Skate BC scheduling is often reverse in the sense that they do put the podium pathway events some (novice, junior, senior) on the first days (Thursday and Friday) while often, other events start with the STAR and less advanced categories to finish with Senior on the Saturday and Sunday.

So this is indeed starting very soon with already some junior and senior programs (well, there is still time difference) today.

Aleksa's programme/music is weird. I remember thinking the same thing about last year's programme, and that grew on me - so maybe this one will.

Decent from Nico. He is starting to look less out of place in senior men. He doesn't have the tech needed to really be competitive, but what he does is generally done well (except for a blip on one spin).

Checking senior women and wow I feel like I've seen Uliana at a lot of these events. She really makes sure she gets her competitions in!

Definitely seemed a bit slower today which is probably why Uliana's lutz went wonky at the end. I think I made the same comment last week that its pretty obvious she is thinking through each element and checking it off. She is coughing at the end oh no, I hope shes not sick. She must be trying hard to get that Skate Canada spot.

I think she is maybe trying too hard for the Skate Canada spot, and then doing less well... That is a really low score for her.

Kassidy's tech score is actually very slightly higher than Uliana's there...

Brookelynn looks so tall. Jumps were good! Really nice skate from her, just would like a little more power in the skating to match the music.

Nice and clean from Brookelyn, but not much speed or glide. A river should flow a lot more. Still one of the best skates I;ve seen from her.
