While we're waiting for the games to begin way up north in Canada, let's have some fun for Halloween. What are your favorite scary movies?

Here's my partial list:

10. Nosferatu, the original silent Dracula
9. Rosemary's Baby, Ruth Gordon was brilliant as the kindly grandma type who's really a witch.
8. The Omen, the graveyard scene still scares the heck out of me
7. The Sentinel, a late 70s thriller about a beautiful girl who is chosen to guard the gates of hell.
6. Psycho, the infamous shower scene was so memorable because of what they didn't show
5. The Haunting, the first one with Julie Harris, once again, they never really showed anything, and still managed to give you the creeps
4. The Fury, I think it worked so well for me because Amy Irving comes across as such a good character with such an evil force within her
3. The Ninth Gate, Johnny Depp even looks good when he plays a nerdy bookworm
2. Sleepy Hollow, see above
1. The Exorcist, I saw it when it was first released at a special midnight screening. By far one of the creepiest films ever made.

Okay, so some of these really show my age, but check them out if see them at your local rental store or one TV.
