Tosca :eek:hwell:

sbs 3 toes into 3 toes - good!
sbs 3 Saldchows - maybe two footed from him?
2 twist - clumsy
She had to put the free foot down on both throws
everything else ok, lifts nothing special
good speed and ice coverage

Duhamel/Buntin started out well, but had some trouble with the throws.
Lifts had good positions but a little slow. I'll attribute that to his shoulder.
Lost speed going into the straightline step sequence.
I think this program will build as the season progresses; I like them so I'm hoping it does at least.
They go into first place.

3 twist - BIG
sbs 3 Sal - 2 Toe combo - good!
sbs 3 toes - he doubles she turns out
carry lift - good
throw 3 Sal - good
sbs spins - some unison problems
combo spin - difficult variation
lift - good
footwork - slow but good personality
throw 3 loop - BIG
Lift great

Good skate!

M/B had a great skate! Other than the sbs jumps and a little unison trouble on spins (which they fixed) it was very solid. That last throw jump revived them.
I agree with Nancy though; they don't show much connection with each other and I think that is due to the music and choreography, neither of which really give them a chance to do so IMO.
They'll medal though, so job well done!

One complaint; TOO MUCH makeup on Keauna! Get rid of it!

Schindler's List

sbs 3 toes - 3 toes - good
sbs 3 salchows - off unison but complete
3 Twist - good
sbs spins- some unison problems
footwork - Robin just doesn't seem completely over his feet
lifts - good
throw 3 Flip - BIG!
throw 3 Salchow - singled!
lift - ok

Tentative skate. Robin seemed really nervous. Could go either way for me, but will most likely get first.

Barely first in the FS!

Wide open for M&T now.

Unless M/T cahnge their costume they're going to have a comp. where one catches on the other and it's going to be disatorous. That is if something dosn't fall off first.

Disasterous skate! :frown::frown::frown:

He falls badly on sbs 3 salchow
She falls badly on first throw and sbs 3 toes
Lifts look labored

The whole program was a struggle.

I liked very much their SP, but LP is poor... Even without those falls I would not enjoy it.

What a shame! I like the potential the program has.
Both struggled and after the fall on the first throw they just seemed lost after that.
I'm interested to see if they still end up on the podium. Part of me says no, but I have no idea.

I actually think M/T's LP is a pretty good program, to bad they had so many mistakes. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off though. I'm not sure if they have the right style to pull it off. Baring the mistakes it was really flat.

McLaughlin and Brubaker beat Savchenko and Szolkowy by four points in tech, but lost it on the PCSs (and the SP).

OMG, NOOOOOOOOO!! Ugh, they had the perfect opportunity to set themselves up for a terrific season by possibly upsetting Savchenko/Szolkowy only to sadly fold under all the pressure. Awww, Mukhortova/Trankov, I wish things could have turned out much differently. Oh, I HATE this for them!:boohoo::no:
