Normally i don't think that white costumes looks good on white ice, but there is for me an exception:Kulik's Romeo costume http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXy7qBMvvOM
I'd probably like that one more if they had put it on a skater who is at least somewhat close to legal ageI totally agree with you regarding Soyoun's dress! The detailing is the colour for white costumes. On the topic of detailing on white costumes, I adore Julia's white dress from last season. Again, exquisite detailing, and use of sheerness on some parts of the costume provides a nice, albeit subtle, contrast.
Kevin Reynolds needs more than a haircut! How about a stylist? But I read somewhere that he wears his hair that way purposely. Things that make you go "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm"!!!!
Best Ice Dance costumes this year: Gilles & Poirier's Hitchcock FD.
Fashion designer Nick Verreos named them as among the best of the season:
Another one of my favorite Ice Dance costumes were worn by Canada's Gilles and Poirier. They skated to a "Hitchcock" medley and wore the above costumes in black with silver accents. Perfect; sublime and oh-so-good! Oh and yes, their Free Skate was one of my Top All-time FAVORITES of the entire season!

I really dislike white costumes on figure skaters. They get totally lost against the ice. Never could figure out why they keep dressing the women in white. Akiko's dress was gorgeous - just wish it had been a different color. Even a pale yellow or a pale green with that beautiful beading.
Agree... That was absolutely terrible to look at, and it was probably the only time I disliked one of her dressesI totally agree. My worst white dress goes to Alissa Czisny in 2012. I loved her skating so much, and her struggling with her hip problem was so hard to watch. But this dress was just

Agreed!!!! the first time I saw Piper´s FD dress in NHK Trophy I was like
Yes, Piper is very into fashion design (she's studying it at Ryerson University), so she was happy when Nick Verreos sent her a message telling her how much he liked her dress.
Piper's program in fashion design is quite different from Paul's degree in linguistics. 3 years ago I wasn't sure these two would click because Paul is more cerebral and nerdy with all the languages stuff, etc. but they ending up having better chemistry together than they did with their prior partners. So sometimes the differences between two partners end up complementing each other well. I've noticed this in other teams, too.
Best - So many good costumes to choose
Still there should be one or two - most mind blowing ones
Worst, Kostner's costumes from the LP in Vancouver
