A local TV station has reported that over 60 skaters took part at Kyzylorda ice palace. The competition ended December 22.

Elizabeth TURSYNBAYEVA won the title of CHAMPION OF JUNIOR FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP OF KAZAKHSTAN

The athletes competed for six gold medals among boys and girls. Skaters from Almaty and Astana showed the best result.

Kenzhesh SARSEKENOVA, STATE FIGURE SKATING COACH OF KAZAKHSTAN was interviewed.

- Competition, in terms of training is no worse than the international. All conform to specified requirements and standards. Along with local experts an independent jury from Russia was invited to assess the performance. The best will win.

Dawn Lucas/Yerzhanov are training in USA, so maybe they didn't want to do a competition for only Uzurova/Ali? I hope at least one team will go to the 4 Continents!
