Nice to See Scott and Tessa on Battle of the Blades

Tonight was the first Battle of the Blades broadcast and Scott and Tessa were both on as surprise judges. They will be back for later shows as well. I'm looking forward to seeing their Rock the Rink show in a couple of weeks. They both look great, only I thought Tessa's hair style looked pretty dramatic. The first Blades show was really good. The skating is excellent. Katelyn Weaver and her hockey partner, Sheldon Kennedy got a standing ovation and are the leaders. Elladj Baldé skated a solo and is helping the skaters with choreography. What a great show!

I had not watched much of the show in previous years, but last night I couldn't take my eyes off it! The stories of personal struggles and how lives turned around, not to mention the figure skating stars and the charities. Plus a dancing Ron MacLean and a solo skate by Elladj Baldé...great entertainment!
