2026 Coupe du Printemps | Mar 13-15

2026 Coupe du Printemps is set to take place March 13-15, 2026, in Kockelscheuer, Luxembourg.

It will feature the Singles (Novice, Junior and Senior) discipline and will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the ISU Special Regulations, and relevant ISU Communications.

Coupe du Printemps used to be the "mere" International Competition with a Gala, and I suppose that this was what would attract some top skaters. I don't see a Gala in the announcement, is it over?

With the number of Grand Prix trophies who cut off the Gala, this would be sad...

The organisers have posted a provisional time schedule and a list of competitors (not on the thumbnail "Entries" which seems still locked on 2024). There seems to be less competitors than in previous years (except, as usual, in Advance Novice Girls and Junior Women). With Kazuki Tomono in Men and Mana Kawabe and Rinka Watanabe in Women, people will miss the Gala!

I doubt they will this time because some athletes were sent to Poland, but Skate Canada has in the past sent athletes there... fingers crossed
ETA. just saw the entry list.. no Canadians.
