Entries are out on Sportity, PW IceChGraz.

Some interesting names from US and Canada, esp. in the men's event.

Weronika got her first senior assignment  probably to get minimum for Euros - she has stronger tech score from juniors than other contender for second polish spot.

Is Noelle (Streuli) still injured? :( She withdrew from Jr Worlds, and nothing from her since.

Noelle posted some time ago on her social media that she's back on the ice after long time - but it was only a snippet, I don't know how it's going at the moment, but I hope to see her soon

I think it was on Youtube last year, not sure though

It was. The guy behind the coverage, Ryan Thornton, normally streams it on his own YouTube channel:

https://www.youtube.com/@Ryanntthornton1982

I hope it is the same this year. He does a great job, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Who can forget the year that there were no graphics, and he made sure that we got the scores by writing them on post-it notes and holding them up to the camera?

  :points:

Post it’s for the win. I don’t care as long as i can see Keegan ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🍁

Swedish Ice Dance team :hap10:
And Milla and Nikolaj is out from the entries... They are signed up for the Warsaw Cup and Tallinn Trophy as well. I didn´t really think they were going to do all of them, so not surprised they have WD from one. I´m wondering though - this seem like a likely podium finish for them, so it seemed like a easy competition for them to get ranking points. Or didn´t it meet the criteria for WR points? I´m not sure it does now after they WD. Or maybe it still does, just barely

There are now 6 entries from 5 different ISU members.

Edit: I think it still should be just valid as long as not more teams WD. Singles has 8 entries requirement and 4 ISU members, but ice dance has 6 teams requirements and 4 SU members. It doesn´t sound like a plausible explanation to WD unless they expects more teams to WD eventually.

Thank you for prompting me to look at the entries again. Because I just spotted Marilena's name!!! :cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

How did I manage to miss it before?! (Unless she is an addition).

She is also on the entries for Denkova Staviski Cup. Not sure they are overlapping or not, but surely it´s close.

Boys but you are quick off the mark! I checked the Denkova-Staviski club's website only an hour ago, and the Entries / Results page for the ISU part of the event wasn't up then. :drama:

Well done!  :points:

The link has now been added to the OP of that event's thread.

Given that Marilena belongs to the Denkova-Staviski club, I would bet that she will be at her club's flagship event rather than here in Graz.

In a way it's a pity, because it would have been interesting having another head-to-head between her and Stefania. See how things have progressed between them since the Robin Cousins Cup.

It's going to be a busy week for me keeping track of the Cypriot girls, because we also have Oliviia in action at the Volvo Open Cup!

My three favourite skaters all in action! My head is going to be all over the place! :drama:

Day 1 of the IceChallenge is starting now. And we begin in the Interclub part of the event with a girls double-bill. A group of 7 Juvenile girls, followed by 29 Basic Novice girls.

Livestream for the Juvenile Ladies FS is now on air.

Here is the link for the livestream:

All the other information you may need can be found in the OP of this thread.

Hope this helps

Awwww. The wee totes!

Great camera-work, with zooming in so that we can properly see what these little girls are doing, rather tham them being tiny dots in the middle of the screen.

They are using the old set of ISU graphics that can actually be read, unlike the new ISU graphics which can't.

My only complaint is that when the skaters are getting their results, they are sitting in the dark. The screen behind them isn't producing sufficient light for us to see them. Some proper lights are needed as well.

But, on the whole, I'm really impressed with the production so far.

Unfortunately, the wee Hungarian girl finished way after her music. Which is a pity, because she was good.

Oh, according to the livescoring, she didn't get a deduction. That's nice, being less strict on the youngsters.

This is probably a symptom of how the entry forms were filled out, but there is a great variety in the amount of information that is being displayed in the graphics from one skater to the next. I think the aim is to have have the age, coach and music. For the Austrian skaters, we have always had the age at least. But, it was very noticeable that for the two foreign skaters, the graphics didn't even have that.

But, regardless of the amount of information being displayed, they are far better than the current ISU graphics.

Yay! They have added some lighting to the results area! :cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

Thank you!  :points:

:thank:

First group of the Basic Novices are now doing their Warm-Up.
