Here's an interesting quote from the announcement:

JUDGES: In order to avoid the unpleasant last year situation, when except two Judges had been entered by their Member Federation, the OC has decided to invite Judges, in order to assure the panel of 5, thus, the competition could be considered when awarding points in the World Standing Points. Each panel of Judges in all categories will consist of minimum 5 judges

Website of romanian federation is down since some month, I think we'll only get the protocols on the ISU page some days after the competition will be over...!

I spoke with Julia Sauter during Cup of Nice and she mentioned that she was going to compete in Romania and that must be this event then.

The quote from the announcement is refering to a repremand that romanian skating federation got from ISU. Can be found in communication from a meeting held by the council at worlds in shanghai (I think). It had something to do with that the panel was not manned according to regulations.

If anyone gets a list of competitors, or even knows of who might be competing, I'd love to know.

Their site lists prior champions, and it's not exactly a table of household names.

I love to watch and root for skaters from smaller federations. I hope there will be some video.

I see that is just PreNovice Results.

Are there Novice, Junior and Senior Results anywhere?

When I clicked on the link yesterday morning there were senior and junior SP results too... but they disappeared later on the day! Maybe there's just a technical problem and it will be back soon.

But as I remembered, only a few skaters with low scores (quite all were under the European/4CC minimum technical scores)

The Prenovice competition has nothing to do with the International Crystal Skate competitition

the problem with the last two editions are that in the 2103 editions we ask the teams to bring a Judge each , as usual , but this was not happend so we can not have an 5 judge jury and the world ranking points can not be accepted by ISU

Your statement is a little bit besides the reality. In fact on the entry form there was no possibility to enter a category. After the initial entry, it appeared that RSF had entered the skaters in Seniors just for the sake of letting the Senior event count for World Standing points. The entering federation had requested several times before the event for a correction of the entries, upon which no response from RSF was received. So RSF acted fraudulently and rightfully received a reprimand by ISU which is explained in ISU Communication 1933.

I am very sorry for what it happen there . I was argue with the referee at that time and with the OC before . I personaly checked for your skaters and i found that all that season they compete as juniors . What I sad its exactly true , I did not say that there is not our fought . It was our faught! . There are only the facts . My opinion is that Figure Skating Branch must solve the online entry service . For short track and speed skating branch every thing is ok . Each member has their data base with all skaters , with only one check box you can entry the skater in the competition , you can not make mistake about the category , you have all information , all the time about the entry list , you can see if the competition is eligible for world standings , who are the skaters ,when they arrive and depart , how many rooms they need , who is the team leader and coaches . And more with a push of a button you can download the all competition in the computer with out the need to input manualy the names and no mistake can b made .

I absolutely agree with you on this! We will present proposals at the next ISU Congress in this direction. ISU must modernize and start to HELP federations.
