2022 Budapest Trophy - Juniors

2022 Budapest Trophy is scheduled to take place in Budapest, Hungary, October 13-16, 2022. Not to be confused with the Challenger Series event, it will be an international event for all disciplines (Women, Men, Pairs, and Ice Dance) at the Junior level.

The competition will be conducted in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations, the 2022 Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Single, Pairs Skating, and Ice Dance, as well as all relevant ISU Communications.

Day 1 of the Budapest Trophy begins with a chaos category double bill. Juniors first, then Seniors.

But, I am concentrating on the Junior GP today, as I have kids in both segments being held there.

Now that the Men have finished their shorts, it is time for the Dancers to start their campaigns. Again, it is a double bill, with the Juniors first and then the Seniors.

I enjoyed Nell Denton & Joseph Booth in Junior Rhythm Dance.....but why continue skating for France when they could skate for GBR?
I know Joseph lives in France with English Parents, I presume Nell is the same? They both look very English. Joe used to skate with Ambre Perrier, currently in 2nd, at Novice level.

I loved Nell & Joe's matching RD costumes of black trousers with white shirts, very chic. They train in Lyon with the guy who skated for Japan with Emi, in the K&C, looking very cheerful together.

Yet another European event that thinks we want to hear banging club sampled repetitive music during the replays. No thanks!

But, I will not be able to watch, as the qualifying for the final round of the British Superbike Championship is on.
