Mmmm. I'm concerned about my kids, the Gervits sisters.

The first round of the Cup Of Israel was held in Eilat exactly a month before Nationals were held in Holon. That was the only time between the Cup Final in April and Nationals last week that Katya had been in action. She finished 4th out of 5 in Junior Ladies in Eilat. She did actually take part in Nationals last week. But she withdrew before the FS, after finishing 8th and last in the SP.

She's normally better than those results.

After doing the Nebelhorn Trophy and the Diamond Spin, Liza has withdrawn from all 3 of the international events she has been entered for in the past 2 months. She too did the first round of the Cup Of Israel, where she was the only entry in Senior Ladies. But it is worrying that she wasn't at Nationals at all.

I'm starting to wonder if they are both not at full fitness.

A couple of days ago, Liza put up a video of her doing her SP at a show in Ashdod. And in the caption she said "Happy to be back on ice " So, maybe she was injured, and only did that Cup Of Israel round to see where she was at, and to get some points on the board for the series.

Whatever the case, I hope they are competing at their full potential soon.

Love Tkachenko and Kiliakov, but this RD is really hard to relate to. The music and cuts are irregular but I do love the costumes. It will be hard for them to qualify in Worlds with this RD. The FD to Spartacus showcases their talents so much more. Maybe they should hold on to that FD for next year.
