Nina Pinzarrone withdrew from the Dragon Trophy?

It appears so. She is no longer on the Entry list.

It's not unusual at this time of year for skaters to enter lots of events, and then choose afterwards which of them to actually go to.

That's what Aleksandra Golovkina did. She went to the Lõunakeskus Trophy in Estonia instead, and finished 2nd in both segments and overall.

In an interview she stated that she would compete at both (Challenge cup too). Her coach is btw in Slovenia. I was just afraid that she has an injury, but some rest is also good (after having exams_

With the Juniors finally over, it is time to start the Seniors. And it begins with chaos! 9 boys; followed by 17 girls. The 9 boys are arranged into a group of 4; followed by a group of 5.

The final day of the Dragon Trophy consists of an Advanced Novice double-bill, followed by a Senior double-bill. In each case, chaos first, and then girls. The Advanced Novices have a group of 4 boys; followed by 33 girls.

Mikutina won the SP over Sauter and Selmekova (who got the minimums for Worlds)

Not just the minimums, she also got the spot as she beat Ema Doboszova. I'm happy for Vanesa, but feel sorry for Ema, she was injured early in the season and never managed to come back to last seasons level, and Vanesa rose up to the occasion having a strong first senior season and rightfully getting both Europeans and Worlds, I do hope Ema can come back strong next season.

This was such a good competition for Slovak skaters, Vanesa finishing 3rd in senior ladies. Lukas Vaclavik (with clean 3A in both SP and LP) and Olivia Lengyelova winning both junior competitions. Emma Cerkalova, Alica Lengyelova and Lorna Mackova going 1,2,3 in advanced novice women.
