OK, people are going to hate me for this, but....
I can see what Kaori's program is choreographed to look like, but she's not a good enough dancer to deliver it properly.
I know, I know, she skated great here, and the jumps looked good and and really tried with the choreo, but it's not there, and I don't think it's going to get there because while she's moving her arms, for example, the way she's been told she doesn't have any feeling for the movement or its timing with the music.
Simpler choreography works better for her because of this limitation. I think she could well be world champion again this year, but I'm going to be real and say I don't think she owns this choreography the way it needs to be done and so I found it looked, gulp, a little juniorish....
