I’m laughing myself silly at the fact that my women’s prediction, where I had three picked perfectly and two total bombs, got me a medal. Of course, the second medal was in pairs, which I know almost nothing about.

An overall bronze Plus, a gold in ice dance and a bronze in pairs

Color me surprised! I had forgotten that I made predictions for this event. Since I was familiar with the skaters entered, I didn't do a lot of analyzing or overthinking. I made my selections and forgot about it. LOL!

Perhaps that's the best predictions contest strategy. It's mostly a matter of luck, in any case. And it also depends on the type of event and how many fans make predictions. This early event did not excite many contest participants.
