My luck being my luck, a yoga retreat which I have booked since last year happens to be this weekend - the weekend of CoC where the timezone works well with Australia, and where my firstborn daughter Rino will be skating 😅 😅

But perhaps it is better for me this way, my mental health would probably appreciate some nature & meditation rather than stressing over my cactus child..

Sooo I won't be watching live from anywhere, but I will catch up on Monday - probably on SBS Australia since Youtube will show winner interviews already (aka spoilers). I will avoid social media as well 😆 Please cheer hard for Rino and everyone!!

Have now seen Peacock is showing the Grand Prix's but is anyone missing the great work Jean Luc Baker did last year when they showed the practices before the actually competition. It was interesting & informative.

As alluded to in your Peacock thread: Skate America was the one and only Grand Prix from 2024-25 season for which Peacock streamed practices and for which Jean-Luc Baker was practice-session commentator. Jean-Luc was a great asset as a rookie commentator.
(The Skate America practice-session streaming later was archived on USFS YouTube channel.)

Fingers crossed that 2025 Skate America practices will have the same arrangements, including JLB's excellent commentary.
(At this relatively early point, I am not worried that nothing has been announced yet about Peacock coverage of 2025 Skate America practices.
For 2024 Skate America, first word did not come until a few days in advance.)

I enjoyed listening to his insightful commentary so much. I too hope that we will be able to hear his commentary again and especially that USFS will archive it on their YT channel. Always great to read your informative posts @ice coverage. :thank:
