Fournier/Zhu getting closer to the Worlds CTES, they're at 96.12 after this (along with a silver! I like them, nice to see them win their first international medal :) )

Nguyen/Giang get the 4CC CTES.

Just catching up with this competition after a busy weekend, and for a start it took an age to find the performances I was looking for. But the 2 things that offended me most, the monotone voiced, Eastern European accented Announcer incapable of pronouncing names, any names. The Austrian accented Announcer was perfect and charming. The other thing, that incessant club music giving me a headache, turned up to the max, from the second skaters finished their programs to the second before their names were called badly. Thankfully I found the performances I was looking for, and have recorded, uploading to YouTube asap. Congratulations to Londoner Atl Ongay-Perez, now skating for Germany, for which I entirely blame BIS. Another talent lost to Britain, and he's looking very good here. Their RD is one of the most enjoyable I've seen, and Mia Lee Mayer matches Atl. But I thought in the Free Dance he outskated her, and she looked a little Junior compared to him, though they are competing in Juniors (if that makes sense!) However a promising partnership, winning the silver medals in only their second comp. Their debut was last month at Mezzaluna Cup where they finished 5th beating reigning British Junior Champions Mimi & Joe. But naturally I'm sad we've lost Atl, though he does have German heritage on his Mother's side. However I will support this new partnership as I always have his previous with Ashlie.
