2025 JGP Bangkok Rhythm Dance

I don't hate it as much as i hate offspring

Uh huh, uh huh!

I bet you would love it if it was Ricky singing "Give it to me baby"!

No, this joke has run on too long. And I don't tell it as well as @4everchan does.

Given how many Japanese Ice Dancers so often can't find the "right" partner then ultimately give up, I actually commend KahoYuu for staying together throughout all their challenges
I was thinking of this and hoping they stay together. Just continue to be careful with the lifts to avoid injuries that hurt Kaitlin & Jean-Luc.

This team have been skating together since 2018, almost longer than any other active Dance team in Japan right now. (Jrs. Yoshida / Ogahara (SumiIbu) possibly a couple years longer?)
They have dealt with a lack in height difference almost the entire time

Regardless of the way they have been underappreciated and undervalued by their federation and domestic judges they continue to work hard as a team, and are doing their best to improve
Thanks for the info. First time I see them. I will keep watching for them. The lack of height difference is the first thing I saw but then, now that's seen, I am sure I will take another look at them in the free dance and appreciate some of their other qualities.

To be honest, I found the canadians a bit overscored.. BUT can we talk about protocols ? Judge 4 was really harsh on them, giving them GOE of 0 or 1 on all elements, and 5.50 to 6 on all aspects of PCS, fairly lower than the rest of the judges....

And Oh surprise, turns out judge 4 is american ..... Should be investigated imho

Not surprising ... considering their top skaters performed really early in the field... They had to protect them. Same old, same old and really tiring actually :(

They got 67 by German judge (with various degrees, she overscored the whole top 5).
60.something by Canadian, Turkish and Chinese judge.
58.something by the Japanese judge
And then the US judge scored them 50.86 (5th).

wow... US judge probably not only protected the US #1 but also US #2 team. That's a bit much. Oh... How am I not surprised to see it's Julia Rey. I have her in my "list"
