The 2025 Thailand Open Figure Skating Trophy is set to take place May 2-6, 2025, at the IWIS International Training Center in Bangkok. Skaters in the Singles discipline (Women and Men) in the Novice, Junior and Senior categories will compete.

The event will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating, and relevant ISU Communications.

The Interclub part of the event has been under way for nearly 6 hours (it is due to finish in 45 minutes from now) and, as it stands, it looks like we are not going to be able to follow what is happening at the Thailand Open Trophy.

There are links to Entries / Results pages on the Sportity pages for both parts of the event. However, both Entries / Results pages are continuously trying to load, and then timing out.

But, here are the links anyway, in case they do spring into life:

Entries / Results page (Interclub)
Entries / Results page (ISU)

And as yet, there is no sign that there will be streams appearing on either the Fed's YouTube channel or somewhere on SolidSport.

The Fed's Facebook page is regularly posting about the event (that is where I got the confirmation that skating had actually started), but there is no mention of streams. There is, however, a stern warning on both the Facebook page and the Sportity page to spectators and team members not to film or take photos of the skating. There are also details of how to buy videos.

So, to me, that sounds like any filming will just be for the purposes of selling videos, and that they will not be broadcasting the event.

I hope I'm wrong. But it doesn't look like it at the moment.

Sorry.

Just as a follow-up to my previous post.

I was looking at the Sportity page for the Interclub part of the event again, and noticed another note had been added to the bottom since I looked at it yesterday:

Reminder: Official Photos & Videos – Advance Booking Required
Reminder If you would like to receive official photos and video from the event, please make your purchase “before” the competition. The photography team will only record performances of competitors who have booked in advance. Purchasing after the competition will not be possible. Thank you.

Given that there is a "Photo and Video Booking Form" link on the Sportity page for the ISU part of the event, I would say it is highly likely that the same is the case for the rest of the week too. Which will mean that there will be no livestreaming for any of the event.

😞

By the way, the Entries / Results pages are still not working. However, the Fed have put a post up on their Facebook page telling us who was on the podium in each competition. And they have subsequently put up a couple of posts containing photos of the Podium Ceremonies.

No live Results ?
is this a isu competition ?
Yes, but FSAT's results page has been down for a while. Same thing as with Thai Nats a few weeks ago - there is a link but the page does not load.

Unrelated, but if anyone does know the Thai Nats results (or just the podiums even) please share😅

Detailed protocols are on Sportity. Yuseong Kim won the junior women, Yujae Kim was second. Hannah Frank was third.

Interestingly, Yujae Kim had edge issues with Flip jumps, while her sister had edge issues with her Lutz jumps. (Just had a look on Skating Scores- this seems to be
a trend for them).
