On my screen it was difficult to read the names of the events on the pale yellow bars. What technical level were the only pairs entry? Just curious

You are right. There was only one pair in Basic Novice category. Their score is 20.68. As for their technical level I cannot say anything. I never watch any categories lower than Juniors.

Basic Novice gives me an idea of what elements they were doing. My sister-in-law, The Real Diana Delafield, is from South Africa and there was no figure skating there, in Pretoria at least, when she was growing up. She's happy to hear about it expanding there. She'd never seen live skating until she came to Canada to go to graduate school, met my oldest brother, and stayed to marry him.
