Karoliina Luhtonen, born 20th of April 2000, is a Finnish figure skater.
Biography & Skating Style:
The 15 years old, is the winner of the national Junior Championships 2015 and just recently came 11th, at the Nebelhorn Trophy. Besides skating, she is a rhythmic gymnast and does pursue athletics (track & field). While she was born at Helsinki, Karoliina actually spent a lot of time at St. Petersburg and Moscow (2009-2013) where she was coached by Svetlana Sokolovskaya at CSKA. Today, however, she is back in Finland, being coached by Lumikki Sido at the local figure skating club, at Kerava - a small town in south Finland. (Keravan Luistinseura ry)
As her personal goal, the very mature and elegant skating Karoliina noted, that she want´s to present Finland on international level and someday, win the Olympic gold medal.
