Okay, since it's a new year, I was wondering what everyone's goals for skating are this year. My mom says it's good to write down goals for yourself so you have something to strive for!
I am a firm believer in setting goals for the important things in life (skating and all that other stuff)!
My major goal for this season of skating (before rink closes for summer ) is to achieve the loop and flip jump (one full revolution)-hopefully not too cheated!!
Minor goal: become comfortable doing the 3 other 3-turns that I can't do (only got one good one ).
1. Increase core strength
2. Continue to train and build endurance for AN '05
3. Finish both programs cleanly at AN, and not run off the ice crying (that's a joke)
4. Test Silver moves
5. Axel
6. Test Silver FS
7. At least one double
8. Improve overall skating skills and presentation
To do a dance competition and not come last! And to beat the couple who are currently our greatest rivals.... and the couple who are our next most greatest, too!
To pass our Level 1 Free Dance
To pass my Level 3 Dance Moves
To get our Level 4 Compulsory dances to test standard, even if we don't test them.
1. solidify my waltz jump
2. learn the scratch spin entrance
3. learn another jump (toe loop or salchow?)
4. pass the adult pre-bronze moves test
5. pass the adult pre-bronze freestyle test
for me.......i wanna improve my spins n footwork n jumps...
especially camal and sit spin.....
also can learn other new jumps ....just like Axel........
if i really can have a chance , may be do some test or competition....
haha.........main point .....have fun on ICE~!!
