Now here's my question. If these kids can do a total of five Grand Prix events in a season (junior and senior, including the jr. finals) and somehow manage all the stress of traveling to different time zones, interruption of training, etc., etc. -- in short, all the excuses that the elite skaters often come up with for not wanting to compete (saving themselves, "peaking" at the right time) -- why can't everyone do this?
