Can't bend in Risport Venus

Hi there,
First of all, I'm an adult skater having low level of single jump and I've been skating for 6-7 months... I'm currently in Risport RF3 pro as per Ic3Rabbit suggestion which I have no problem at all.

The thing is I shipped my skates to the skate sharpener in another city and it turns out the person is sick and unable to sharpen mine until next week.. So I have to go back to my old pair which is Risport Venus... Oh lord, I can barely bend my ankle in those skates today cuz the tounge is stiff and has almost no padding... Is there anything I can do to make it better or should I suck it up and wait until next week?

Personally, I'd have a week's rest from the ice and concentrate on off-ice exercises for flexibility and strength.
