1 UKR Vykhodtseva / Shumski black with red skirt he's in black with red design / very dramatic music to start nice movement - to carmen / forward twizzles were nice - back a little out of sync into a pretty spin / rot lift with her in catchfoot pos / bit scratchy there / into O ftwrk nicely done - she seemed to be doing most of the work / upside down rot lift into one foot carry / curve lift with here again with her foot to head / diag steps - got a little slow he seems to have a bit of trouble with the turns / nice movement into closing pose that kind of collapsed / it was an enjoyable dance / tech 28.60 comp 23.86 tot 52.46 gr tot 108.83
2 CAN Lamoureux / Mee
her in dark red with black lace long gloves him in black / nice opening chor to dramatic music / right into O ftwrk little bit of miscue at end of twizzles but otherwise very nice / nested bent leg spreadeagles were very nice / music softens and some nice chor into a split leg lift - hard to describe - pretty from one angle but not from head on / twizzles were good into a low curve lift / spin is sustained in low sit pos / music picks up and some good chor / strt steps down centre of ice - with music but not 100% in sync / into rot lift into final pose that seemed to be a bit ahead of the music / very dramatic program and they pretty much arried it off although I thought a couple of times the music got away from them / tech 34.01 comp 27.82 tot 61.83 gr tot 128.04

turqoise & black in vertical stripes over bodice / some nice chor into twizles bit oout of sync at end of 1st ones 2nd ok / a bit of nice chor into curve lift with her in side split him in spread eagle / low lift straigt then change pos into curve / nested ina into sit spin to upright / music is now live & let die and they're dance picks up / one arm rot lift that I think had a bit of problem on exit / O ftwrk - the music is fast but they're not - seemed to have a couple of misteps in it / tech 30.94 comp 26.35 tot 57.29 gr tot 119.32
4 HUN Lalatka / Balint
pumpkin coloured dress for her shirt for him with dark brown / he had problems on both twizzles coming out early / celtic of some sort / nice set of twizzles / their leg lines often don't match and they're somewhat scratchy & slow / low lift with him in shoot duck her with foot to head / spin in traditional pairs sit spin pos / now a bit of traditional irish step dancing into rot lift that started out pretty good but problems after change of pos into O ftwrk - good speed but very simple / I enjoyed it but the quality wasn't there / tech 28.66 comp 22.68 ded 1.00 tot 50.34 gr tot 103.46

black with red trim - spanish style / flamenco / nice movement to music - very nice to start / low lift changing to rot into upside down (but nice) carry lift / music changes and and more stomping and their chor is matching very welll / into O ftwrk that was really nice / music gets heavier and he fell at end of twizzles and missed 2nd ones / spin in trad pairs sit spin pos / diag steps were ok - think maybe a bit of mis-grab near middles / curve lift into final pos / too bad about the fall - this dance was really well-choreographed to the music and thoroughly enjoyable to watch / tech 27.47 comp 29.71 ded 1 tot 56.18 gr tot 123.76 /

her in pale peach him in black - phantom / nice opening chor into twizzles in good sync / into pretty lift / nice rot lift hard to describe but very pretty / music changes into O ftwrk - pretty well done / some nice choreographic touches but seems to be too much plain stroking for me / curve lift into one-arm rot lift / spin in facing sit pos to back version of same / into diag steps where something in the middle seemed to have gone slightly wrong - there was almost a gap where they weren't doing much / tech 30.33 comp 29.10 tot 59.43 gr tot 125.68 /

her in cream lace with red accents him in black / carmen / fast opening very diffeicult pretty dance, music changes for spin in lovely low sit pos / some wonderful complicated intertwined dancing that I don't think was an element - it must have been their diag steps / twizzles were perfect / carry lift into rot lift / into low lift / into O ftwrk that is all dance steps - no stroking at all - wonderful / one arm rot lift with her in catch foot / some more great dancing into final pose / everything just flowed together so well and I'll bet there were more than 2 or 3 places where they stroked more than a couple of steps at a time - it was an incredibly difficult dance / tech 38.70 comp 41.51 tot 80.21 gr tot 169.06

black with diagonal illusion insets - wings similar to Annisina & peizerat costumes / music is carina burana / nice complicated - one-foot steps in an S pattern / missed a lift / O ftwrk is difficult - maybe too difficult because their speed is very slow during it / rot lift with her in splits facing him / it went by so fast that I couldn't keep up with the notes on it / I'd like to see it again so I can really see it / tech 29.97 comp 33.23 tot 63.20 gr tot 137.51
