Do you think it's ok to use techno/pop versions of classical music?

Personally, I dislike it. But if that's what the skaters feel they can connect with and interpret best, they should go ahead. I'll just cheer for someone else

techno has two meanings -- it's funny -- for europeans they mean stuff with no vocals, really underground "hard" stuff -- for americans, when they say "techno", often they mean what in europe is called "dance". And "dance" in europe is a lot more mainstream and pop-oriented.

I don't mind Techno if the program choreographed well, I loved Alexei Yagudin's 2002-2003 season's SP Racing. But I certainly dislike classical music being changed into techno. All I can remember for Daisuke's SP of this year is his amazing skating skills and the cute and funny looking.
