TBH, it's disappointing to me. Not that I held TT in particularly high regard as an institution but they always—to me—evoked the sense that their disposition to the craft is serious. A reality TV show is unexpectedly lowbrow. I do not want to see Adeliia followed like a Kardashian.

I think it's the other way around. Good timing for the production company to ride their wave. I imagine it was them appeasing Eteri as much as possible to make this happen, not vice versa. Also Eteri has already been featured in plenty of shows—she is performative in general.

there things are often benefitting both sides... win-win situation Eteri is well-known but not Adelia. Unlike the other wunderkids, she hasn't ever competed on the circuit... so this helps her certainly. and what helps her student, helps Eteri.
Anyway, you won't catch me watching this...
