Hey, guys~ Take a look at this! (Just click on the green arrow in the center.)
It is HILARIOUS!

The article is talking about the three-minute stop-motion UCC made with over 1000 digital photos of a ‘Stikfas’ figure imitating Yuna Kim’s gala exhibition performance in Japan last year. Apparently, it has been viewed over 140,000 times and had over 1000 replies in just two days.

The guy who made this UCC is Seo Sang-Rok, a 25 years-old Korean student studying Media and Communication Arts. Seo initially began using other figurines, ‘Yo-tch-ba’ and ‘Ray’ (even himself it seemed~), but their joints did not hold Yuna’s poses as well as the one he decided to use. (In the UCC, he showed that he even tried to combine the two) He said the work was painstakingly slow and he almost gave up when he realized that he had to start all over again after taking about 300 pictures.

Seo is a fan of Yuna and the UCC was his way of cheering Yuna after learning that she was suffering from hip injury.
In the end, he wishes that Yuna would skate without injury during the upcoming season.

Real FIGURE skating!

I thought exactly the same way, and so did many others. Thanks for the reply.

p.s.
I should have thought about putting "Real FIGURE skating!" as the title. Cool!

I predict a great future for yellow man. He is very humble and sweet and his donut spin looks very difficult!

Wishing well...

Hi, Spun Silver!
I was laughing the whole time when I first watched this... then I thought it was a very charming way of encouraging Yuna. Although I am not the biggest fan of her skating, I sympathize her because I understand her surroundings. It moves me when I watch her expressive arm movements knowing that all she knew before coaching with Brian Orser was YOGA for flexibility! Her arm expression comes from her heart not from her recent ballet training. She doesn't yet have the refined quality that Tessa Virtue or Mao Asada have which probably come from their intensive ballet background.
Watching her on ESPN or CBC to me was a bit painful. When Dick Button said she had to stretch her legs and turn it out... I was talking to myself 'Man, give her a break! Those are ballet terminologies...' When I watched the clips of Kurt Browning rooting for Asada, I understood why. All I can say is that I admire her inner strength as a person... the kind of strength that can penetrate through someone's soul... I mean well for her.
