Karam/McGrath were something like 20 points ahead of the others in just the FD! Amazing confidence in presentation. What a shame they didn't make the JGP final! Would have done Canada proud.
L/M and S-L/B were quite strong, others not bad. I found the east to be stronger in general than the west, generally better skating skills and lines and more polished performances (but then, several of these teams had JGP's, so that would account for the more polished programs, I guess!) Exception to this is G/P from the west, they were amazing, but withdrew from the free dance.

Gonna be a battle between Karam/McGrath and McCurdy/Coreno at nats!

I wouldn't count out Graham/Poje either. I saw their FD at Minto this summer and loved it! I heard on another thread that they may have reworked it a bit- in which case it should be great by nationals- it was really good already back in August!
