When Cem told Savas that Yasemine was pronably sleeping with someone else. Savas told him she was not that kind of girl. Remember later on he said when they met that he understood that she was hurt. So that means he recognized she was not that type of girl but she was just hurt

Yes - he felt this woman was hurt and that she was also in her late 20s and was still a virgin so for those 2 reasons he knows that she doesn't sleep around!

I loved the way he had said - she's not that type of girl. Defending her already!

Oh no, don't wait for me, I'm too slow.
I love the opening of this show, with Savas and Yasmine on the boat, moving (what is the verb for a boat , gliding ? ) Savas is a green shirt and Yasmine in her yellow dress.
These are the clothes they wear in E24, in Bodrum.

I find myself reading your forum more often than really watching the series again.
Binge-watching today, love your reference to the Corleone family...

OK Cok, Love Shura - we'll let you set the pace, because I can speed up or stay slow. What episode are you on?

I'm still on 2, lol, but had to stop to check in. You all need to move forward without me...
I'm surprised Savas and Cem knows about the Cinderella story. Savas calls Yasmine his Cinderella, I'm still laughing about Savas wanting to look for her, and Cem making fun of him.

Ohhh, and just noticed Esref! He was supervising the loading of the drugs and keeping Pala informed. For some reason I've regarded Esref as the good guy, but he must support that fact that the Family is into drug trafficking.

I'm watching for street signs in Bodrum so you can locate Leyla's house. No luck so far.

Question - Yasemin and Mehmet both had keys to their upcoming joint apartment, why didn't Yasemin ever give Savas keys to her villa?

Good one! Why didn't she?
Although I do like it when he rings the doorbell, Yasmine opens the door, and there he was.

I think that Kemal really loved Cicek. He says he waited for her for 10 years. She's about 20-21, he's about 32-33. He had to wait for her to become an adult, although I think girls married at a much younger age. I don't like the attitude he has - I AM KEMAL BALDAR. And I don't like his sexist attitude, dragging her away from an education, but she has no idea that he really loves her.

Cicek didn't get pregnant with Kemal. If she did have a baby with Kemal, they wouldn't have to marry her off to Savas?

I love how this show Yasmine's life and Savas's life in parallel, their paths almost cross but not quite. Episode 3, Leyla is out shopping, runs into Savas and Savas gives her a lift home in his mustang. He drops her off but never really see Yasmine inside her mothers's house. I remember watching this moment with bated breath, but they never really meet because Savas just drives off!

On YouTube, they show the beautiful seaside drive of Savas in the black mustang, but Netflix only shows him pulling up to the front of Cem's bar.
Later, about 20 episodes later, Leyla has a deja vue moment, and says, she feels like she's met him before.

NE 9 12:23 remaining through 12:05 remaining shows the east side of Leyla's street with the playground for either a school or day care center. There's about 6-8 houses on Leyla's side of the street and the street seems to be only 1 block long and not much else on the street. It is in the suburb Bitez.

E3, when Savas is giving a ride to Leyla, she tells him, her home is near Bitez.

I love that Savas understood Yasmine right from the start.

Can someone explains what it means to be the bride of the house and she's their honor and not supposed to do any work. I've tried to google it but come up with nothing.

I don't get honor part. I googled bridal exchange, didn't understand it either.

I'm watching the scene in Van, sheep everywhere and a shepherd is wearing something that looks like an outfit from outer space, then comes Pala in his little truck.
Anyhoo, the shepherd reminded me of the story that Savas told Yasmine that time in Bodrum.

Love it when Savas tells his mother he's going to enroll Cicek in a private college. "She's my wife, I can do with her what I want." He's made his point and then kisses her on the forehead. ;)

I love that she said it's a sin. Lol.
Which part, to get an education or for women to get an education.

I wondered the same thing about that shepherd's outfit. lol I just tried to google shepherd's clothing but I kept getting dog info. Finally it sent me to images of Van and sheep. There were many of women milking the sheep etc and then believe it or not one picture did have that outfit!!

It's sweet that it made you think of the fairy tale Savas made up and told Yasemin at bedtime in Bodrum. Can you image Savas in that shepherd getup.'s

At some point Esref tells Savas that he felt that it was his duty to do whatever Hasip said to do, but it was never in his heart to partake in the drug trafficing. Later he basically talks Savas out of ever drug trafficking, not even one time.

I haven't seen many street signs in the entire series but I did see the house numbers for the office, Yasemin's villa, and the Baldar mansion. Knowing that I just had to enter different streets with that house number to find the house, even though for some there were many streets. Someplace there has got to be a house number for Leyla.

Although I do like it when he rings the doorbell, Yasmine opens the door, and there he was.

Someone responded to that by saying it was to keep her secret about Omer for the just in case situation that she didn't want him just coming in at any time in case Omer was present.

I noticed that too. Netflix made up that beginning boat scene for all their shows with the final episode clothing, showing where they were going to end up, but you don't understand that until you see both of them together in Bodrum. The actual show on youtube seems to have a driving scene of some sort for each new episode.

After the image of the shepherd I just went back and clicked visit the website for that picture and it's a whole article about Van and life with their animals. It's great, take a look at it:
http://mymodernmet.com/nadir-bucan-interview/

It reminded me of the wisdom of Savas by providing 15 sheep per household to replace the drug money. They were to milk the sheep and sell it to a coop for money. I remember their surprise that the money would be theirs, must be most Agas would take most of their money.

And this one shows maids a milking http://www.fathomaway.com/milkmaids-van-turkey/
(reminds me of the 12 days of Christmas) xxx maids a milking, but it also explains the wonderful cheese from Van.. That was something Savas was proud of and he wants to eventually work his company into adding cheese production. Yavuz started the cheese business but who knows how that was run since it was just a front for drug running, just like the Baldar sausage production had been a front for drug running and their product was poor quality. Of course that was all before Savas got his hands on it.

I have to say this while I'm thinking of it. I'm just now watching the final episodes with my husband. We watched 58 tonight with the letter from Seher. It caused me to rethink how I had viewed Sahnur in regards to Cicek when I watched season 1 the first time. This time around I'm going to try to understand that her dealing with Cicek (an arranged marriage) when Yasemin (a true love relationship) comes on the scene - it's a replay of her own experience and how she truly needs to battle to protect the arranged marriage, which is I think in her mind, fighting to protect her own marriage from someone else coming along with love for her husband in other words for Cicek and against Yasemin.

Also in one of the episodes I just watched Sahnur is meeting with the women in Van and they are questioning her about why Cicek isn't pregnant and they are giving Sahnur solutions. One of the women says that Savas should just take a second wife. sound familiar!

NE4 - did you notice that Mehmet is still wearing his engagement (wedding ring on right hand) ring. Oh do I love Yasemin slamming him after he lies to her that it was a one time mistake on his part - by telling him off - after she found him with Mujde and he wants to just forget about it, she tells him she went to Bodrum and slept with the first man she saw and didn't even ask his name. That should have made them equal in their mistake, but no - as a woman - her mistake was worth 1000 to his mistake equal to 1. I cheered and loved it!!!!

This was a good one!
