The 3 top teams: Scott & Dulebohn; Innoue and Baldwin and Osash and Lucash all had good speed, good lifts, and good side by side moves, but they all had at least one major mistrake, either on a jump or a throw jump. Aside from that the problem which is correctible, they do not in my opinion have any form of discernable style. The need spark. Of the next four teams, Don and Hunt looked especially good as did Vise and Kale. Hinzeman and Parchum need work but they may make it in future years.
But, imo, American Pairs are not moving forward. I talked to Jason Dungeon and told him his team of Roth and Haretsell looked promising - what else could I say? I also mentioned that American Pairs could he and Yuka to come back to eligible skating. An emp;hatic No was the decision.
All and all an uneventful day. Naomi and mother are still around; Peter looking all to forlorn is also around. Will they get a bye? And if so, will she get the surgery NOW? I saw Johnny Weir wearing some outlandish street clothes. I hope the judges didn;t see him.
I took a tour of Atlanta, a big city. I was impressed with the Cyclorama of the Cibil War Battle of Atlanta. That just reinforced my feelings about NO Mor War! Of course, we visited the home of Martha Mitchell - and the lecture revealed of how she used much of her money from the book to help the Black Community in Atlanta long before it was fashionable. We also had dinner in MaryMac Restaurant with the Souther Cooking. Heavy. for me.
I'm off now for Mens and Ladies Short.

). But yeah, I've seen the Civil War Memorial in Atlanta and I thought it was very well done and very moving.
