I don't think it matters. It's my understanding they donate the animals/gifts/flowers to children's hospitals in the city they are currently performing in.

That is correct. They are put in a bag and the skater has the choice of keeping an individual item or 3, like a huge bear one darling little pairs lady wouldnt let go of...from her cold dead hands!!!!

If I do not see at least one Simba plushy on the ice during the standing ovation after Max is done, then the US figure skating fans will have failed.
