SAG Awards not affected by Writer's Strike

The Screen Actor's Guild Awards which has always been a third rate TV show, will come into its own on

January 27 - at 8pm (et) on TBS & TNT

It's SAG's 75th anniversary and it should have every actor in LA there plus all the nominees for this year's awards. I presume all those Oscar dresses will be worn here.

I support the writers cause but a lot of picking & choosing as to what they decide to picket or give waivers to. No Golden Globes but the Broadcast Critics are okay? The Grammys are a no no but the SAG Awards are safe? No deal for Jon Stewart but Letterman gets one? Hmmm. I've heard their reasoning for each decision still doesn't make me think that they're weakening their own cause.
