Working on core strength and edge quality never hurts, and by the time someone needs to test out of juvenile MITF it's too late to quit!lack of flexibility or not, you can use core strength and edge quality to achieve these movies. Nobody expects ballet quality turnout or "pretty feet"...I'm sure a more dedicated or single minded 10 or eleven year old would have said, hell no, I'm going to skate no matter what.
