Now Toni, the good thing is they are leaving WV alone (see previous WV vs. Abercrombie and Fitch thread). The bad thing is this type of thing helps promote stereotypes that just aren't true. Not funny. Kind of like saying all Alaskans come out of the womb saying "Where's the liquor?"

haven't heard that one...
but still I've sat through a lot of Alaska sterotypes... after all we do live in igloos, ride polar bears and somehow Penguins always get mentioned... I guess I found it funny... sent it to my "redneck" pastor, he found it funny as well... but he comes from Texas... so what do I know LOL

It's funny. My daughter is home for a visit this weekend. 
She watches some reality show about a brother. We just watched the tape of it and it just really disgusts me that they pick people like the cowboy to represent Oklahoma. They are always doing that with Kansas, Okla, Ark., MO. etc. Sure there are some but most of the people are not the hicks etc. they portray.
