Tarasova enters World Hall of Fame

Tarasova helped coach Shizuka Arakawa and Sasha Cohen, who later won the gold and silver medals at the 2004 Turin Olympics.

I'm sure they meant either 2004 Worlds or 2006 Olympics...or both! Congrats to Mme. Tarasova.

I am so happy for Tatyana Anatolyevna! There was a scare today; at FSU it was reported that she had been taken to the hospital yesterday.

But tonight it said on that thread, that it was "a minor case of angina pectoris", and that she is back at Worlds.

I am so thrilled that she was inducted today into the Hall of Fame; no one deserves it more!

They forgot Yagudin????!!!! He was her student who inspired her the most, I think. She transformed him to an artist.
Klimova/Ponomarenko would be the best ever Dance couple if Torvill/Dean were not existed. They were fantastic!

She is a real genius, who knows how to make her students fanatic in a positive way. She gives inspirations to them, and she got inspired by them as well.

I hope she could be another unforgettable skater who is inspired by her and who inspired her.
