The order of events?

Why is the men event last? I thought the ladies always go last.

I think someone said that Sweden chose to have the men's competition last because it is the discipline in which it has the strongest competitors.

Well it certainly makes sense since IMO the ladies is a battle of two with a third one lurking in, while the men right now it's almost 6-8 for those three spots.

I agree with Toni. I've always found the men to be more exciting than the women. It's nice to see the order changed up for once.

it was weird, though, at US Nationals when they switched it up... it felt like we missed something... we are creatures of habit!

Sweden did it too for the Euros in 2003.

By the way - men's event is the only event with two Swedish skaters because Kristoffer finished 9th last year.
