Hi guys! So I'm recording my intermediate MITF tomorrow afternoon, but I missed 5 lessons with my coach (I take lessons twice a week) since she was away. However, I've been practicing a lot (nearly every day), saw a substitute coach for one lesson, and my MITF seems strong except for my LFI twizzle and my LFO + RBI bracket.
Unlike my RFI twizzle, my LFI twizzle doesn't go into the "snap" as easily and I often find myself leaning unsteadily, skidding, or going too slow. On some occasions, I can do it well enough, but it is not consistent. Does anyone have any advice for LFI twizzle to go quicker or in that "snap" position more easily? I know my coach will be able to assist me for a quick 30 min lesson before she records me, but I'll also get warm up time for myself to practice it.
My LFO and RBI bracket goes on a skid as well or it digs into the ice and is not smooth. I try to "lift" my heel when I am turning but I end up skidding anyway. Any advice and help with that will be greatly appreciated!
